BREAKFAST
1. What is your favorite breakfast to make/have at home? Pancakes or waffles with bacon!
2. What do you usually eat for breakfast? Egg or egg beater wrapped in a tortilla with little cream cheese on it.
3. If you were to go out to breakfast, where is your favorite place and what do you order? I love brunch at Granite City more than anything in the world. This obviously includes giant cinamon rolls.
4. What do your kids usually eat for breakfast? They usually have eggs, pancakes (if I make them, I make a huge batch and freeze them in sets for the week) or muffins.
LUNCH
1. What do you usually eat for lunch? Lean Cuisine or a wrap with chicken, lettuce, veggies and either salsa or bbq or ranch or something like that.
2. What does your husband/wife usually eat for lunch? Ham or turkey sandwhich or a chicken wrap.
3. Where is your favorite lunch spot if you are eating out. El Rodeo.
4. If your kids are in school, do they prefer to bring a lunch or eat school food. Grace loves school lunch. Maya will do whatever, she likes the idea of bringing lunch more than actually eating what she brings.
5. When you were growing up, did you bring a lunch or eat school food? Always school lunch. I don't know that I ever packed a lunch. I'm sure that contributed to my super healthy weight.
DINNER
1. What are some common dinners at your house? Spaghetti, steak & potatoes, tilapia are all standards.
2. Who does the cooking? I get home well before Guthrey so I do.
3. What is your favorite place to order take-out/fast food? The chinese place in town - Great Wall. YUMMY and the girls love it.
4. If you were going out for supper, what is one of your most your favorite places? Rube's, Granite City, Champs, Texas Roadhouse.
5. Do you stick to the basics or expirement with new recipes? I stick to the basics, but I try to do one new recipe every week.
6. What is a recipe that you've tried recently? Chicken pot pie. I didn't like it.
7. Do you prepare different foods for your kids or do they typically eat whatever you are having? They eat what we are having.
DESSERT
1. Do you eat it every night? No.
2. What is a common dessert at your house? Pudding cups, ice cream, those little 100 calorie pack things.
3. If you had the time (and energy) to prepare a dessert, what would you like to have tonight? Butterfinger cookies, puppy chow, something with peanut butter and chocolate - my two favorite things. I’m not difficult to please here.
