I just found this email from 2005. Hee hee. Its funny.
Top Ten Things to Remember about Spirit Lake 2005!(in no particular order)
1. Brian giving the thumbs-up and wing to the neighbor who wanted to give Jon a friendly reminder to check the "law books". (By the way, Joe is planning on taking 'Jet Ski Laws 101' this semester so we'll let you know the official word).
2. Guthrey's underwear hanging out on the line (Heather, nice try denying it. We all know the truth).
3. Heather stealing the mustard from the restaurant (PRECIOUS HOLLY would NEVER do such a thing!)
4. Holly asking grandma if she passed gas (when obviously Joey had dirty pants). Grandma's response: "No! I try not to do that when other people are around!" That's a classic quote.
5. Joe smashing into the telephone pole. His classic quote: "It was in my blind spot!"
6. Dad pulling his shorts up to his nipples and pulling off a Bill Murray impression. Joe's impression of you doing it was also priceless.
7. Jenny welcoming Brian into the family by farting out loud while the Kelly, Brian and Jon tried to sleep.
8. Blaming the carpet stains on the Burley family...the water bill on the Toms family...the electric bill on the Blair family...the unkept yard and beach on the Hucka family. If only they could all be like the Remsburg's, that place would be perfect!
9. Grandma suggesting that it was finally "cooling down" (to 101 degrees) so that it might be a good time to turn off the air conditioner!
10. Kelly not quitting the marble game...Holly not getting yelled at for driving too fast...not getting sick on lollies and Rainblo bubble gum...not breaking the boat ramp...not going for our "non-traditional midnight swim"...not having seaweed fights....
